I was honored to be named featured artist at The Woodlands Waterway Festival for this year. I have been preparing for this trip for a while now, and I am READY! I will be leaving in a couple of days for this festival and for Southlake Art on the Square, where I am also one of several featured artists. Very exciting stuff!! After these two I am heading for Richardson, Texas to the Cottonwood Art Festival. I sure hope you are able to make it out to one of these shows! Branching Out Gallery 2012
Every tree, every branch has a story to tell, and if I can save it to show everyone how beautiful the tree really was- not just what you see on the outside but on the inside- then I will have done my job. Trees are living organisms that at one time or another had purpose in life. Whether it was to give a family needed shade or animals needed food. So now even if its life has ended we can preserve it, and it will continue to live, and show its beauty forever.
