I just made it back home from a couple of wonderful shows - The Port Clinton Art Festival in Highland Park, Il - perfect weather and great crowds, and on to Longs Park in Lancaster, PA - not so perfect weather (even though the rain held off) and slightly less than hoped for crowds (due to predicted weather). I was glad to be part of both of these great shows, and now glad to have made it through the floods and back to the small zoo at my home. It's amazing how much you can miss your furry friends when you are away for a while.

Every tree, every branch has a story to tell, and if I can save it to show everyone how beautiful the tree really was- not just what you see on the outside but on the inside- then I will have done my job. Trees are living organisms that at one time or another had purpose in life. Whether it was to give a family needed shade or animals needed food. So now even if its life has ended we can preserve it, and it will continue to live, and show its beauty forever.
